Career Tip of the Day

Faint

In 2 Peter 1:4-6 you'll read that your job is to “add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness.” You aren’t expected to achieve this on your own, but rather to yield to the Holy Spirit who will work these things in you as you listen and obey. This will take strength and courage, but it’s the sure path to your reward. This same chapter of Peter says that you can expect “exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” If you keep yyour focus on accomplishing your Kingdom assignments, the reward will surpass your greatest expectations.

WORDS OF LIFE:

  • I will not quit. I’m in this job search for a promised Kingdom reward.
  • By faith I receive the empowerment to grow spiritually and to become prosperous and generous.
  • I believe that my work will be rewarded by God if I obey His instructions.

Word of the Day

But as for you, be strong and courageous, for your work will be rewarded.” (NLT)
