Career Tip of the Day

Purpose
Read this scripture out loud, and imagine that David is speaking directly to you about your job search. Go ahead, he says, and be strong, but no matter what, do the work. Don’t stop making calls and putting out the word that you’re seeking employment. Don’t let the circumstances you face discourage or frighten you. Remember that you have the very same God that parted the Red Sea for the Israelites and shook open prison doors for Paul and Silas. He will not fail you nor leave you during this season of unemployment. You just need to work with God to bring yourself in line with His Word and become fully submitted to His will. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit so God will see to it that everything pertaining to your work and life will be "finished correctly." Put your focus on that and see how your job search unfolds under the power of His mighty hand.
WORDS OF LIFE:
- I am strong and courageous in my job search because God is with me and leading me.
- By faith I receive His will for my life and the ability to hear directly from His spirit within me.
- I trust God to perfect me and to prepare me for my next work assignment and my role in His Kingdom.
Word of the Day
Then David continued, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. He will see to it that all the work related to the Temple of the LORD is finished correctly. (NLT)
