Ask
This is such a beautiful picture — each believer finding his or her gifts, and bringing the best they’ve got into the Body of Christ. Then, as we all grow up together in faith and in love, we do the work of the Kingdom. When all the gifts are used together, when each part does its work, then we will truly become the body of Christ as God designed it to be. There’s a key message here — gifts are not to be held for selfish purposes. Your gifts weren’t given just to prosper you; they were given to build up the whole body. Unemployed or employed, what are you doing to use your gifts and do your part in the Church, the body of Christ?
