Job Summary

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in developing compelling visual content that align with our brand standards and marketing objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create engaging designs for various marketing channels, ensuring our visual communications are consistent and impactful. In addition, you must be well organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and have a strategic mindset.

 

What You'll Do

Strategic Design Development

  • Deliver innovative collateral — including brochures, booklets, ads, handouts, infographics, display materials, forms, digital assets, presentations and other communication pieces for print, email and web use — that is on time and on brand.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop design strategies that align with our overall brand objectives and marketing initiatives.

  • Understand our target audience demographics and preferences to strategize design concepts to better resonate with different audience segments.

  • Demonstrates the ability to generate innovative design concepts and solutions independently, anticipating client and project needs while aligning with brand objectives.

 

Performance Metrics

  • Analyze the impact of design projects on user engagement and brand perception, using feedback and analytics to inform future designs.

  • Adapt design strategies based on performance metrics and stakeholder feedback.

 

Project Management and Development

  • Manage the design process from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.

  • Prioritize multiple projects, maintaining a keen attention to detail and quality throughout the design process.

 

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate as a strategic partner to internal teams across both the marketing department and lines of business to create cohesive campaigns that leverage design to enhance messaging.

  • Present ideas to stakeholders and persuade and inspire them to get on board with your creative vision.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings to contribute design insights that influence overall business direction.

  • Establish strong working relationships with external vendors and partners, overseeing the execution of design projects.

 

Technical Proficiency

  • Design materials using primarily the Adobe Creative Suite and the Microsoft Office Suite that communicate effectively and remain on schedule.

  • Coordinate all administrative aspects of production, including preparing design files for print and digital distribution, checking for all color, copy, text and format standards.

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and tools that can enhance design capabilities.

 

Brand Stewardship

  • Uphold the integrity of the brand’s visual identity across all channels, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Have an eye for detail needed to produce high-quality work and an understanding of improvement philosophies.

 

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design or related field, preferred.

  • 5 years of relevant graphic design, supporting either marketing or sales.

  • Portfolio required.

  • Industry experience in financial services or insurance is preferred.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

  • Skillful in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

  • Experience with Figma a plus.

  • Excellent creative and technical skills with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.

  • Effective communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient skills in MS Office and appropriate GuideStone system applications.
